Notable Anniversaries in FIRE
The Lord of Firetop Mountain ( ZAGOR )	Unfortunately, it was in the month of Fire, many years ago, that a young sorcerer first chanced upon the strange rock formation known to all who lived in Northern Allansia as Firetop Mountain. His name: ZAGOR.
	Just as the Grand Wizard in the forest of Yore had three pupils - Yaztromo, Nicodemus and Pen Ty Kora - so there was another sorcerer, one Volgera Darkstorm, who did likewise. He dwelt among the grassy wastes of the Flatlands, near one of the many ancient Circles of Standing Stones that still litter the land. There he taught his three apprentices everything he knew concerning the dark ways of Evil magic, from sticking pins in wax dolls and simple spells for souring milk, to raising the dead and communing with powerful Demons & Elementals!
	His pupils - Zagor, Balthus and Zharradan - were always eager for knowledge, but, at the age of seventeen, all three decided that they had learnt enough. they left Darkstorm lying dead in a pool of his own blood and set off in different directions to wreak their revenge upon the good people of Allansia.
	Zagor soon came to Firetop Mountain, a place he had seen many times in his Demon-sent dreams. Allying himself with the local Orcs and Trolls, he cleared its caverns of the Dwarfs who lived there and established himself as its new ruler. Here he began hatching his evil plans for ruling all Allansia.

YearBook ( 1992 )	These suffered a major set-back when he was killed by an adventurer searching for his legendary treasure; but death cannot hinder someone as versed in the Dark ways as Zagor. The Necromancer is back, more determined than ever to make good his sinister plans. Rumour has even reached us that he now has a son and Heir. If the offspring takes after his evil father in any way, Allansia will not be safe for many years to come.
